The price is a bit high but it worked like a charm. I used this to replace a factory heat shield over a dry rotted loom. I replaced the loom and used this heat shield, the glue worked great. For better results than using a loom, I always tape the heat shield area first and then wrap the heat shield very tightly and carefully. After it's wrapped I use a butane torch and heat the heat shield around the perimeter to support the glue stick.
