Review on πŸ’§ TETON Sports Hydration Bladder: BPA-Free Water Reservoir for Easy Refilling and Cleaning by Ronald Noel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It gets bad rap in too many reviews - updated after 3 uses.

Inexpensive. As for the flavor comments, I quickly washed them down with a very dilute solution of vinegar and water. The water tastes clean, like it comes out of a tap. The leak at the junction of the hose with the bag that everyone is complaining about, just tighten the o-ring with needle nose pliers. Complaints about bite valves lead me to believe that people push their teeth too far onto the valve. For maximum flow you need teeth at the very end of the valve. Finally, the cap and opening are the same as a Nalgene wide-mouth bottle and can be screwed onto an MSR filter. This hydration pouch is great, especially for $10. Renew after 3 trips. I still think it's a great value. There's something to be said for cylinders that can be flipped over for cleaning, but they cost three times as much. I only wash and dry thoroughly when I'm done with it.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Expensive
