Review on Stairs Gates House Upgrade Hooks by Megan Anderson

We bought this for an elderly dog who could no longer walk stairs and we needed to keep him off the stairs. It's easy for a dog to stick its nose under the gate or next to the gate and just rip it off. Even our old lady went through the gate when she decided to go downstairs. Part of my problem was that I didn't set it to taunt, and if it sags from side to side or up and down at all, dogs will go through with it. I also used 3M command strips in place of the hooks provided because I didn't think I could detach her hooks from the stair post after our old lady passed away. In order for a person to pass through the gate, they must be unhooked. It's a bit annoying but I knew I was going to get in. I didn't need wooden gates because they would just get in the way and it wouldn't be any easier to get through.
