I have old wooden floors in my living room and dining room and my children don't find it very easy to move the chairs and table. Before we ordered them we had just redid the floors when one of them scratched the floor so badly we had to ask someone to come out and fix it again. They fit almost any leg size and I say that because all of our chairs are different sizes and even the legs on our table are different sizes. They were a bit stiff when we first put them on, but luckily they stretch a bit. Depending on the type of legs on our chair, we could roll some of them down and then roll them onto the legs. Some of the large, square feet took a little more effort to put on. Despite all the movements with the chairs and table, they slide on our floor without damaging our floors. We have pets and they gather fur around the sole from time to time, but to clean them I just wipe them down with a damp cloth.
