::EDIT 02/03/17::So, a few days after I received a full refund on my purchase, I also received a package of 5 new lip balms in the mail! (2 peppermint and 1 each honey, orange ginger and lemon lavender). The difference between the new lip balms and the two from my original order is huge! Where the former had a very strong chemical smell and were grainy, the new ones smell delicious and are smooth as butter! (Actually, my favorite was honey) What a wonderful thing! And what fantastic customer service! Have upgraded my rating from 1 star to a well deserved 4 which I will happily upgrade to 5 on future orders if the quality of the product continues to be excellent. Thank you Beessential! I don't know if I got a bad batch or an old product but I can't use my lip balms because of the horrible chemical smell/taste that makes it look like someone put gas in it or something. It's truly mind-blowing and I'm not the type to be overly sensitive or picky about aromas and flavors. The consistency of the product I received also seemed lacking, but I have nothing to compare so I'm not sure if they are all like that. It has a hard grain/roughness. Another thing to mention is that mint lip balms have been my go-to for years and none of them tingles my lips like this one! Of course, again, I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, or because mine isn't working. I think one good thing to say is that they don't leave that super glossy shine that lip balm leaves so quickly—my lips looked like my lips did, even though I wanted to rip them off and clean myself of dangerous materials (it is one thing, right?) I'm not sure why now, but this morning before I wrote this review, I received a refund on my purchase from Revain. Do you know some people got a bad batch? Is it because of my one star review yesterday? ESP? Anyway thanks for getting my money back!
