I put them in a plastic tool box that I carry with me to test out old stereos before buying. We needed something that could handle 100 watts in a small package. They will, not the best sound quality but enough to get the job done. I hooked them up to my vintage Pioneer amp and cranked them up to 11, the speakers all took 105 watts per channel without blowing, totally distorted, but even my HIFI speakers distort around 8 on this amp. I have the requirements not rated on water resistance but if so then they're great for a boat, they have enough headroom to crank up the volume over the engine noise.
