I hesitated to buy a chenille blanket. I remember the chenille blanket my mom had about 30 years ago, it stuck and flew everywhere. Isn't that amazing! She is as soft, if not softer, than I remember her old chenille blanket. In addition, it has the most fashionable and coolest mesh, which is a very coarse knit. The yarn is very thick, with a diameter no smaller than my middle finger, if not more. It has very nice braided edges that are very thick, giving it a great contrast when displayed on the back of a chair. Twin or full size bed or just on the corner of your sofa or chair. 40 x 40 will not be a blanket with which you cover your entire bed, it will be your hug and watch a movie or turn an old chair into a beautiful blanket.
