I bought 2 pairs to wear barefoot. I'm 47 and I know what happens to my bare feet and boots when I take them outside. I have worn knee high compression stockings for many years at work and on disc golf courses with dense undergrowth (poison ivy, insect repellent when treated with permethrin), but for the well maintained disc golf courses we play I need short socks...some days. . I bought L/XL which is great for my height 13ft. There's a bit of room for toes, but they're still comfortable and supportive and fit better than regular socks. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pairs and a pair of golfs. I have purchased 3 different styles of Crucial Compression socks/sleeves and have been very happy with all of them. The quality was the same or better than other brands I've bought, there are often certain colors heavily discounted and I've also received discounts on future purchases. I think they offer the best value for money.
