I took these headphones 3 years ago, but recently cut them by accident)) I bought new ones - the sound is very different. Yes, now they cost 300r and play for 300r. But the old ones were better. A constructive change is striking - instead of the three holes under the ear cushion, there are notches in the plastic, but there are no holes themselves. I'm guessing this may be the reason for the deterioration of the sound. Sony support was unable to provide information on whether any changes were made to the design. As an alternative, I tried the MDR-EX50. The sound is exactly the same as the old EX10, but I could not listen to them for more than 15 minutes, because the idiotic oblique design presses against the wall of the ear and pain appears. I hope the XBA series will not disappoint me, but the price tag is already higher there.
