Putting this on my iPad reminded me of the three stages of grief. I tried doing this without big bubbles for a few minutes, then tried to get rid of the small bubbles and finally agreed that there would be bubbles. The glass itself fitted perfectly and was crystal clear. However, the surface feels slightly rough in contrast to the smooth, smooth glass of the iPad. No problem, but a bit confusing at first. The only instructions are on the back of the box. They don't mention the stickers that come with it, nor the use of the wet and dry pads that are also included (extremely small, btw). If you already have one of these installed on your phone, you're a little better off. I don't think they will do much to protect the screen from something falling on it, but they should protect it well from scratches. .
