Looks very cheap. The glossy magazine paper that the dial was printed on actually has an odd slightly purplish-blue hue in daylight. However, this is not something you can capture in photos without a reference color chart, as color balance is handled in photos. But yeah, it's not a very pretty watch if you're within eight feet of it. Luckily, in real life, nobody spends enough time looking at a watch to find out if it's cheap or not. And in general it works, the second hand makes a smooth continuous movement and it's really quiet! Also, the face is printed in large, bold type that is easy to read from a long distance.
