Amazing product and very easy to use. You can control how the flowers dry. Always start with the bottom layer. To make the flower flatter, just lay it flat on the bottom layer and pour more over it until it's submerged in water. For something like a rose where you want the petals to be a bit open, make the bottom layer deep enough to hold the flower upright. Then sprinkle quartz sand over it to get it between the petals. Once it "fills up," submerge the entire flower. I find it easiest to use small prep bowls, slightly larger than a flower, and only use one per bowl. This makes it easier to adjust the sand if necessary. When they are all in the same container I feel like I have less control as the sand crumbles too easily. Highly recommend as a souvenir or just for fun!
