This mirror is only at its brightest when plugged in. As soon as you take out the charger, it immediately dims. Charging doesn't take long. The mirror is small. The touch function works great. Strong. Good for on the go. I like different light settings. You can also dim the light with the touch function.

I had a Conair mirror which was a combination mirror and magnifying mirror that was lighted and charged with a USB cable. This mirror is terrible. IMO these 5 star reviews are fake or seller bought. The battery life is weak. You cannot flip the mirror over while charging, the cable is in the way. Glass is a bit difficult to clean. There are 3 lighting settings, but two of them are pretty much the same: harsh, bright, bright, unnatural and unflattering, and another warm setting, boring. There are knobs on each side of the mirror to lock it in place once you've reached the angle you want, but they're almost useless.
