I was quite skeptical that this would work but decided to try it for my wife, she HATES shaving. Now she uses it on her armpits, legs and bikini line. All I can say is WOW. Your hair will usually grow back the next morning after you shave. But now after she shaved I don't see or feel the hair grow in 5 days and when I do it's very rare! By the time she does her next procedure every week she's almost run out of hair to shave, lol. Her armpits take a little longer, but I can imagine where the hair is thicker, it takes longer. She LOVES it and highly recommends it. The best purchase I have ever made, saved me time and money, very easy to use, you just have to shave beforehand and it doesn't hurt at all.
