Review on CTLAMP 5J.J7L05.001 P-VIP 240 0.8 E20.9n Original OEM Lamp/Bulb for BenQ W1080ST Projector by Elvis Kohl

I do not believe that this lamp is original. The quality is not the same as the original, but it seems and looks no worse. I took some pictures to compare the 2. I really didn't want to spend more than 200 to get another lamp and case like other sellers (including benq) are suggesting. My original lamp has about 500 hours and I wanted to plan ahead for the day it would burn out/fail/go out. I bought this for my benq ht1075 and after putting the bulb in the case and turning on the projector I noticed that it takes a little longer to light up and this scared me at first. At first I thought it was a weak bulb but so far it's performing about the same as my bulb which lasts 500 hours. The lamp only lasts 10 or 15 seconds longer, so it doesn't really matter. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase, especially since it's less than a quarter of the price. I will update my review if I encounter any issues. Left is original, right is new.
