Good product overall

I'm happy with the purchase. It's cleverly designed, looks nice, and is pretty easy to assemble (though the later stages definitely require 2 people). I had to modify it somewhat because I wanted a cat door so the cats could come in and out of the house through a window, so that required a little engineering, but that's no fault of the cage because it's designed to be free-standing.I didn't like the green color of the roof too much (because it clashed with the house color), but I simply got some outdoor paint and painted over the asphalt roof, and that worked fine. And since it was placed right against the house because of the cat door, I had to trim an inch or so off the roof overhang, but again, no biggie. The build quality isn't exactly rugged, but it's adequate. If you are worried about animals attacking from the outside, then the wire screen would be too light and you'd need to either replace or supplement the existing screening. But that wasn't an issue for me. The main thing is our two cats love it. They're in and out of the house 20 times a day. So moral of the story.I'd definitely recommend it.
