Installed in the shower, a terrible smell appeared in the bathroom after a few hours. Leave the mat outside for a few days and put it back in the shower. Here, too, this unpleasant smell of burnt plastic spread throughout the room after a few hours. I took it outside to air it for over a week. Went back into the shower and the next day the smell was wafting out of the bathroom and was on the bedroom door. I took it outside. Totally unusable and the smell is so awful it gives me a headache. I'll give it a few days and if it still stinks I'll return it. The odd bumps also don't make it as comfortable for my feet as I would like.
