Dress is exactly as pictured. I don't know what people say about ordering 2 sizes down. Our child is between 3T and 4T and the dress fits comfortably with limited space. It's a little long, but nothing radical. The only thing I would like is that the dress has an inner lining. If it had a lining it would be worth the cost.
