Battery issues but other than that it worked pretty well

I bought this watch about a year ago and wanted to leave a review because overall I was very disappointed and wish others had this information. The heart rate monitor is very accurate, I tested it on my Polar telemetry strap and it was practically accurate every time. The sleep tracking is pretty good, but as with anything of the sort, it's better if you use it all the time, which I didn't because I hated wearing it all night. I never liked the way the wrist strap was attached, it was just uncomfortable but I got used to it. What I didn't like the most was the battery, the app and how to choose between different exercises. The app is cumbersome and difficult to use, it syncs VERY slowly with the clock so I rarely used it. Choosing between the preselected exercises on the watch was awkward, you swipe left or right to select things like 'walk' or 'bike', but it's so tricky I'd accidentally pick the wrong one if I wouldn't pay attention Kinda drove me insane. But the reason I will now buy another watch is because the battery has always had issues. I use this every day for my workouts and track my time when I walk my dog every night, so it gets heavy use - but hey, that's what they're there for, right? So, only a couple of weeks of use, and then over the last year I've noticed that some days, even after a full overnight charge, I put it on and it just went black with no response. In the end I realized I had to charge it again because the watch had died for some reason. Maybe the charger wasn't the right one or something? And when that happens, the saved time is lost and I have to re-sync it. All in all it's not a bad watch and a lot cheaper than some of the others but unfortunately with all the downsides it just isn't worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it if you're going to be using it all the time. Get something more expensive that will last a long time.
