Review on Amzparts Vacuum Breather Assembly Passat by Jeremiah Small

One of the check valves has a notch on the side, although this is barely visible in the product photos. It was tilted up when installed, but the one I replaced with a 2003 Passat 1.8T was tilted down. My concern is that if I connect the hose to the fitting in the up position, it would take some stress from the weight of the hoses underneath and possibly break. Instead, I cut the disposable clips on this check valve and rotated it so the pin was angled down. In the attached picture the tip I am talking about is connected to the hose with the green dot. I used very small clamps for some of these connections.
