I used this to enter the door leading to our dealership to prevent customers from walking out there, we had a standard handle and you had to remember to prevent him from coming back every time and if you don't even though we have subscriptions everywhere no customers in the store they would still wonder there it's great so far I installed it this morning before we open it took about 15-20 minutes to do. Mainly because I assembled it at home last night and went through all the programming steps so I didn't have to do it this morning. It gets used about 15-20 times a day and worked so well the first day that I'm considering adding a second unit to our storage room. As for the feedback or questions about the remote only working directly on the keyboard, that's a lie. The remote will take a few seconds for the lock to receive and process the signal, simply press and hold the unlock button until it opens. Today I tested the remote up to 30 feet and it worked every time I gave it just a few seconds. I've found the average time to be around 5-7 seconds. I will update if anything changes. Just FYI and as it is not stated anywhere in the information this lock set is for a 2 3/8 back only the deadbolt is not adjustable to 2 3/4 only 2 3/8 is in the box.
