I currently have 2 monitors in my office, but due to the lower refresh rate and only HD IPS screen, none of them are suitable for gaming. I've decided to try this for high end gaming needs when connected to my Xbox and it could also serve as my second screen in my home office to replace one of my current ones. I am pleased with the graphics and capabilities of this monitor. In terms of functionality and specs, I would recommend this monitor. Here's my verdict after using this monitor for a week: Pros: Overall image quality is excellent. Colors are vibrant with a range of 1.07 billion colors and flicker-free thanks to the high refresh rate. In addition, it also has good wide-angle coverage. The monitor displays an image almost immediately without much delay. The maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz offers a better viewing experience compared to lower refresh rates on other monitors. Please note, however, that in order to achieve 144Hz, you must use an appropriate graphics card and also connect to the ports provided (DP/HDMI2.1). In addition, the maximum possible resolution at 144Hz is 2k, which is the industry standard in line with current technological advances. The integrated AMD FreeSync Premium and G-Sync technology ensures smoother gaming graphics. In terms of features and functionality, they seem very reasonable compared to the competition. Detailed manual with all instructions. Arrives well packaged and there was no damage in transit. This might work for this purpose if you don't have an external speaker, but I'd recommend hooking one up for surround sound effect. The remote works great but needs to be pointed very carefully at the bottom of the monitor. The monitor stand is not height-adjustable, so you have to live with the standard height. True, the screen can be tilted - the control buttons are located on the back, which is not very convenient compared to the fact that they are located at the bottom of the frame. But the remote control in the package will not make you miss it
