We have 6 children and bought them for evening activities including weekly trips to Universal Studios. They're much easier to spot at night when they're glowing! We used them for the first time on Sunday (item arrived on Saturday). All 6 straps glowed very well and the fact that they fit my 3 and 5 year olds so much better was a huge plus whilst still being big enough for my husband should he decide to wear them. However, one of the bars went out again and again after about 10 minutes (why 4 stars and not 5). I hope it's just the battery that's dead, so I'll try to replace it first. We like them a lot more than some of the lighted shutters we originally bought. After two uses, two of these have become unwearable (the band doesn't stay closed to stay on the wrist) so that's a HUGE plus and I love that they can also be worn on the ankle. I will most likely be buying a second set so all 8 of us have a party and I have a few extras.
