There is no reason not to buy this product. You don't see what it does, but it works. I read a review that you should run 5 gallons of water through before drinking the water. What a bunch of rubbish. They are made with carbon and other filters. Coal flows through it when you first use it. Charcoal is not harmful. As a result, the water discolours slightly and then becomes clear. Use with confidence and change as recommended for continued use, typically every 6 months. I recommend this water filter for your RV and ice cooler.
