Good luck with my finch socks. I wasn't worried about any seeds leaking out of the sock in the pack as I always add anyway. My tip for stuffing is this: I put the sock in an old tall vase (like the one that flowers come in) and use a cardboard tube made from kitchen paper to stick it inside the sock as a kind of funnel. I placed the seeds in an empty plastic coffee container with a V notch on top. Easy to fill in a cardboard tube. Just don't forget to seal the top of the container on the sides! Empty the seeds that fell into the vase back into the container and seal the V-notch with tape. The packing tape is re-glued several times. However, when I took this sock out of the box, I noticed that the stitching holding the underwire was already unraveled. If I hung it up unnoticed, the sock lay on the floor for an hour. I sewed the bag for the rope manually while the sock was in the vase, otherwise the whole seed would not be lost. Somehow this inferior line got into the hands of quality control! I probably won't buy this one again.
