These gloves should be 5-star for what they're designed for: keeping hands warm and using touchscreens. Having touch sensitivity throughout the glove is a huge plus. Also the grip points (on the palms only) are a nice bonus, I didn't realize how slippery my phone was in my other gloves until I used this one. The grip points make these gloves a little painful when used in ski gloves, but not enough to complain. Also, the silver thread still makes the gloves look charcoal grey, so it doesn't look weird. The reason I have to deduct 2 stars is the lack of durability. If you have velcro these gloves will rip in an instant. I didn't wear them for more than five minutes before all 10 fingers snapped from contact with the velcro. I cursed and tried not to touch the Velcro, and that's when I realized for the first time how many Velcro straps I have on all my ski gear. By the third day my brand new gloves looked like they were many years old. The silver thread on the fingers is frayed all over. I suspect the touchscreen capabilities will stop working at my fingertips pretty soon - you know, where I need them most. don't buy another pair.
