Review on 🚀 Enhance Your Ford (Focus) Performance with the K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Horsepower with 2007-2009 Model Fit 69-3513TTK by Sean Maples

After doing a lot of research and not wanting to spend $400 on a new Ford "for life" air filter for my '07 Focus, I decided on this K&N intake kit. First let me say that it's worth the effort, but you should allow at least a couple of hours for the installation. What's more, the removal of over 3 feet of boxes, hoses and plastic tubing, which Ford for some reason called the air intake system. In any case, now that it has driven 30 miles I can honestly say I am happy with the purchase. Anyone familiar with Airflow will clearly see the advantage over a standard system. This eliminates the long path and 2 90 degree turns that air must travel through before it reaches the throttle body. The biggest change I've noticed in terms of performance is in the 3 to 5,000 rpm range. The motor makes a much raspier growl when you press the pedal. Can't comment on fuel economy yet and it might be a while as I'll probably be shifting each gear a bit longer and harder now. But this shot definitely breathed new life into my little 2.0 with 80,000km on it. I would definitely recommend an upgrade, just be prepared for hassles during installation
