🔌 Silicone Throttle Body Hose for Subaru WRX 2008-2014 - Mishimoto MMHOSE-SUB-ITBBK (Black) Review

I bought this to replace a leaking TB hose. Follow the other reviews and the installation should go smoothly. As others have reported, I wish the tubing was a bit longer (maybe 0.5-1 inch) so alignment isn't necessarily perfect and there is some clearance. The quality seems good and I love that they provided new clamps.

Mishimoto website says it fits Wrx 15+. I went to a link and ordered it. Fits perfectly. The little dimple goes straight down and the words go straight up (but in reverse, as if you were reading them from the driver's seat). Installation took about 20 minutes with only one adjustment. If there is a gap at the bottom of the intercooler, face the lettering towards the driver. I have the perfect one for everyone around me. The logo or dimple as a landmark does not matter. Whichever way you go, it just won't fit. I had to file the angled edge of the TMIC to keep it from poking through the tubing. Used for 2005 LGT Wagon, 185k Car has pipes leaking everywhere, this is the last one I replaced and well worth the money. There was a boost leak on the stock engine, they replaced all the vacuum lines, the turbo intake pipe, the intercooler and finally that throttle body intercooler pipe. No matter how I tried to align the hose, logo side up, down and sideways, after two hours of fighting I still couldn't get the hose on. It's just too long, and its position alongside the stock hose confirms that. This will constantly move the intercooler too far out of alignment and put a lot of extra pressure on the bolts. Nobody will buy this part unless they are faced with a horrific general boost leak for our vehicles. I'm giving this part 4 stars because I wish I had at least some assembled instructions. Very easy to install, good quality product! I've been looking for a low RPM problem for quite some time. and after some research our factory throttle body hoses have been known to wear out over time. I didn't bother resetting my ECU and decided to let the car relearn. There were still fluctuations, but after a few days of driving they were almost 100% gone! After several attempts to repair my Wrx 12 OEM hose by removing the bushings, adjusting the clamps and moving it, I finally gave in and got this hose. I had a really hard bump and the car jerked as the revs rose between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd gears. Even after tightening the OEM hose from the throttle body to the intercooler, I heard a hissing sound as the car pulled very hard with the boost on.
