[photo update only] once I filed and didn't care about the gap everything is fine. As another reviewer said, installation should be easy, but it was still so difficult. The logo or dimple as a landmark does not matter. Whichever way you go, it just won't fit. I had to file the angled edge of the TMIC to keep it from poking through the tubing. (when the dimple is facing down where it fits better than the other). Still gives a slight gap but seems ok (from another reviewer). There is no leak at this point so I gave up, but the screws are put under too much stress when trying to install the TMIC. I wanted to move away from the POS 3 OEM hose, but the OEM install was a lot easier than that. At least it looks good. (also not visible). I wanted to leave a photo but no.
