One of the easiest DIY projects that will improve your life any day is replacing your crappy little shower head with a manual massage shower head. This one was very easy to install and looks very shiny despite being made entirely of plastic. Be careful where the wand is attached, it will lift your head up and forward which can make it difficult to land in the shower stall. I haven't seen a clearly removable flow restrictor, although I did see a blue thing at the base of the handle that looks like it could pop out with pliers. However, the flow was good when it was there. The five takes are actually three different ones, with two intermediate mixes: first and second, second and third. I put teflon tape on the gooseneck and everything pressed in well and there were no leaks. The hose is nice and light and quite flexible. There are no actual instructions, but use teflon tape and install the bracket first before tightening the clamp and installing the hose, and attach the handle to the hose last. Do not use pliers or wrenches. You just need to tighten your finger.
