The average size is a bit big for a 3 month old baby!
My husband saw this burrito blanket and was compelled to buy it for our new grandson who he called the little burrito that was wrapped all the time. I love it and my daughter enjoyed it. Has survived a wash and is nice and soft and light so a good light duvet for a baby. He felt that the smaller 36" diameter was too small, so he bought a 49" which is a bit too big. But the child grows up!
