It's basically like an elastic strap around the wheel. It's a very wide strip and the edges go very far where my thumbs usually stop. Not only does this look annoying, but frankly it feels like it could be dangerous if the fabric gets in the way in any way. It's not like the Nissan Versa has unusually large wheels or anything. I'm stunned that this thing has such great reviews, and I have to add that even if it weren't so oddly shaped, the incredibly pliable, not very grippy fabric could move on anything but the largest steering wheel. Not only would I suggest avoiding it, I hope not too many people ride these things. You seem dangerous. I've never had this problem with other steering wheel covers.
