We bought this portable sewing machine for our 14 year old daughter. She has taken home economics classes and loves to sew! This car exceeded our expectations. I tried it just to make sure it worked (what kid wants to break something for Christmas) and we were both happy! Runs on electricity or 4AA batteries. Contains 4 bobbins, an extra needle and a threading tool. It's not the biggest, but it's good for beginners and for making small corrections to other fabrics. This little thing even comes with a light! I would recommend buying this for those just starting out with machines! We are sure that our child will be happy on Christmas morning!
