Purchased to clean and devein bundles of fresh shrimp. While "working", it was a little difficult to slide between the casing and the flesh. Squeezing worked well, but it tears the flesh where you put it. Just no clean cuts. It was easier to just remove the shell and carefully slice it open with a knife to remove the vein and not tear the edges of the shrimp meat.
