Our towel hook is sliding out of the wall and needs replacing, so these hooks are only for temporary towel hanging. They work well for this purpose and I will likely continue to use them after we replace our towel rail to attach hanging items INSIDE the shower. These hooks easily stick to the top of the glass shower door and they have small rubber rings to 'guard' the shower door, although they are too small to offer any protection (not that these hooks would easily scratch the door anyway). ). I would be happy if the hooks would stick out a little further. They fit our bath towels, but if you've had very thick, very long, they may not hold the hook. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. It was a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to fix the problem.
