My local sanitation inspector recommended using a floor sink with a siphon for disposal.
My local sanitation inspector recommended that I use an in-ground sink with a siphon to drain water from my pool into the sewer. Environmentalists don't want you dumping water back into storm drains that mix with river water on their way to the river. The 1-1/2" diameter backwash pipe ends right at the sink opening. I'm going to build a 1/4" mesh cone over the sink to keep debris out of the sink. This washer is just what I needed.
