Amazing value for money Internals

This 3600mhz kit works fine for me. It uses a custom chip known to work well with Ryzen. This is important as Ryzen is more memory and overclock selective. They will be compressed to 3600MHz CL16 @ 1T with the right combination of CPU and motherboard. Without going into too much detail, it seems like most one-star reviews don't understand memory "binning" and/or memory overclocking specifically with Ryzen. Yes, the standard (industry standard) JDEC speed is 2400MHz at 1.2V. You must either set the speed, time and voltage manually or enable XMP for kits designed for higher JDEC speeds. At around 3600MHz and higher for Ryzen, the memory clock and Infinity Fabric clock can decouple. This will actually hurt performance unless the memory clock is increased (say 4200MHz or so) to overcome it. If you suddenly don't get the performance you expect, give it a try! This can be configured on Ryzen 3000 series processors and higher. It happened to me myself. Older Ryzen CPUs can't be partitioned, so you have to rely on what the CPU memory controller can handle. Your results will vary based on silicon lottery and motherboard compatibility. However, kits designed for speed should reach it without major problems. High-end processors and motherboards tend to be better than cost-oriented ones. More memory is harder to overclock than less. etc. etc.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Useless features
