I have 4 Godox 685s (Sony version) and they do not fit. The tops of the slots where the hot shoe is to be inserted are too thick. I mean the part that goes on the hot shoe. With the Godox 685s flash, the area between the top of the shoe and the bottom of the flash is narrow. Therefore, you cannot insert a flash into the slot. I had to sand the top of the mount so the area was thin enough to slide between the top of the shoe and the bottom of the flash. After I did that, the problem was solved. But the knob on the end of the adapter only twists to keep the flash from slipping out of the socket, but it doesn't make contact or tighten with the hot shoe and won't snap, just a little friction keeps it in place and Job. from moving back/rotating to a position where it doesn't even prevent the flash from slipping out of its socket and falling. The notion that you get what you pay for definitely applies here as well. This adapter is cheap, generic and obviously hasn't been tested for possible issues with different brands of flashes. I was going to buy another one of these if it works as I hoped, but now I'll find a better alternative. I will probably have to pay more but it's worth it.
