Bought this to replace my W1070+ lightbulb. Every time I turned on the projector I was prompted to order a replacement as the original lamp was over 5500 hours old but still worked perfectly. Installed this lamp today as a precaution in case the old one exploded, didn't want to catch the glass. in the device, if applicable. As far as I could see this lamp looks exactly like the original so I'm pretty sure it's the original. Installation is very simple, insert the lamp and turn on the projector, everything works fine but wow the picture is much brighter now. I don't think I realized how much the original had faded with all the hours, but yes, this one looks great and is noticeably brighter.
