Pros: It really works! The quality is very crisp and you can take a very good second monitor with you. You need Mac OS drivers, but once you have them, they work just fine. As long as I like it Not great: It's a bit clunky, and when you close the screen it initially wants to fall off the back of your computer (see video). It will likely get better with more use. It's just a little awkward. Magnets: I'm not sure how the magnets on the back of the screen affect the OEM display, but this is a work laptop so luckily I don't care. I think it will be good. The magnets aren't that strong. It's just for balance. The weight of the screen rests directly on the tabletop beneath the laptop.
