Excellent quality monitors, just what I was looking for to take with me on the go and work remotely. I love them and am glad I made the purchase. As my partner also works remotely we bought two of these so we could each use one OR one of us would use both. He also likes that he can use display modes to mirror his screen onto the customer sitting across from him. All of these features work great. However, if you're using TWO of these to connect to your laptop and set up with three monitors, there are a few caveats that weren't very clear (or I underestimated) when I bought it. They work, the quality and functionality are quite good, but they are very bulky. As the instructions make clear, installation requires it to be resting on a flat surface. It is NOT able to support dual monitors without tipping over your laptop unless they are leaning on something for support. This makes it difficult to work on soft or sloping surfaces (like on your lap, on a hotel bed, or even on a sloping laptop stand). Each monitor must be connected separately, so cables run from all sides of your computer. Also, only one powered USB-C can be connected at a time. After spending hours trying to find a dual USB-C docking station with video support and power, I found that to be a limitation of the technology, but it irks me quite a bit that they seem to be making an effort to omit this. from the instructions. In any case, this meant the second monitor wasn't plug-and-play like I'd hoped; I had to call the company's IT department and install the drivers to run the second monitor over a regular USB connection. Overall I would definitely buy them again. The quality was so impressive for the size that I'm almost embarrassed to give them 4 stars instead of 5. However, the manufacturer sets them apart by touting the ability to connect two of them at the same time, so this one needs work. set up a little cleaner - or at least be more transparent about how that would work in practice.
