I don't know what other reviews were thinking, calling it incredibly soft and fluffy like a cloud. It's INCREDIBLY thin, not much larger than a standard mattress topper. Maybe they were paid to review, or they didn't experience a REAL thick hotel mattress topper, but it definitely doesn't recreate that experience. My first clue was the tiny box it comes in. For the "fat comfy" notepad I was expecting, I figured it would be delivered to my doorstep. nope! The box was so small that it was placed in one of the key boxes at the main post office that I share with my neighbors. The husband said it might have been wrapped with the air pumped out. (It did.) So when I cut open the packaging, I thought maybe the pillow would inflate if exposed to air. no Still skinny. Still very inconspicuous. If you want something to cover your mattress, this will do the job. But if you want something that makes you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud? look elsewhere I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
