Good quality replacement for a failed wired system

This review is for the ZEROXCLUB SW02 Wireless Backup Camera. This dual-camera system was purchased to replace a single-camera wired system for a 27' RV that had lost video due to a bad cable, and running a new cable internally was not an option. In the kit I was immediately pleased to find that the cameras were housed in die-cast metal enclosures very similar to that of the original circa 2012 wired camera. I guess I was really was expecting to find plastic at this price point, but this was a good sign of the overall quality to come. This is a heavy kit of parts and the components seem to be of pretty high quality with industry-standard gold-plated 50-ohm RF connectors for the antenna connections on each module.I grabbed some loose 12v wall-wart power supplies to power the two cameras and the monitor for testing, and everything checked out with no issues. The video definition and brightness are much improved over the old standard-definition system, and part of this is due to the very black monitor background which of course helps greatly in sunlight (the photo of the screen was taken in daylight AND with a flash). The high resolution of the monitor really helps here too, particularly if you need to view multiple cameras simultaneously. I should mention that the monitor can handle up to four wireless cameras, and it has several options for how these are displayed. I prefer to view each camera full-screen while using the center "CH-" button to rotate through however many cameras you use. If you try to split the screen vertically to display two cameras simultaneously, the images will be squeezed, but if you split the screen four ways the original aspect ratio of the images will be preserved, although the images will be 1/4 of the original size and you will have black cells where there are no cameras.A range check was made with the cameras located in my basement and the monitor temporarily plugged into the RV. The range and signal strength was more than adequate for my needs so I considered it safe to proceed with building the custom mount and installation. The original single camera being replaced on my RV was aimed to look directly down at the ground past the bumper, and as such it did not have much of a view of traffic coming from behind. I decided to make this into a new dual-camera system would allow one camera to be aimed at the ground for backing and the second would be aimed higher to look down the road behind the vehicle. To accomplish this I used the two camera brackets supplied with the kit and mounted them to a 1/4" aluminum plate that was drilled to match the mounting holes drilled in the fiberglass shell for the previous installation. Rather than mount the cameras side-by-side I mounted one above the other as shown in the photos. I knew this would create a conflict with the short whip antennas mounted to the back of each camera, but I solved that by mounting the antennas slightly remotely from the cameras. Fortunately the RF connectors for the various components are SMA type so it was easy to mount the antennas on the top camera bracket. Holes were drilled in each side of the bracket, and stainless steel SMA bulkhead bullet connectors were mounted in the holes. The antennas simply thread onto the outside of these connectors. To make the connection to the cameras short RG-316 RF cables with one right angle and one straight end (both males) were used. Peelable silicone was brushed onto the connections to make them weatherproof. For the monitor installation in the cab, I had to do some disassembly of the RV's vinyl trim install
