Great product and wonderful customer service. I recently installed this unit for towing and hooking up a RV trailer. A camera was installed at the topside of the back end of the trailer and on the rear bumper of my truck. It is about 50 feet from the monitor to the trailer camera and 18 feet to the bumper camera. I hooked the power of both of the cameras into the trailer clearance lights (back of truck hooked into an extra trailer light wiring hookup). This way the cameras can be easily turned on or off in a flip of the cab light switch. Used rubber grommets where I could and placed sealant every where I could (including the connections on the back of the cameras). The cameras work superb for backing up! The camera on the bumper works way better that the factory installed one (2017 F350) especially in dark conditions like backing into the garage. Heading down the road I noticed that the refresh rate is not the best at the far distance. The refresh rate is okay and gives me all the visual I would need even at fast speeds, however it is quite noticeable when compared to the closer camera. I have the camera pointed down so I usually switch this camera off anyways as it does not come in handy unless I am driving in town (where folks tend to ride your bumper). So I contacted customer service which were great. They sent me an extended antennae (with a cord leading to a standalone base) and in the future I may install further up on the trailer to get a better refresh rate. Cameras look like they are solidly built. The monitor frame and buttons are not the most solid but certainly get the job done. When purchasing, remember to test all pieces prior to installation and certainly prior to Best Buys cut off date for return. It only took a few minutes as I used an extra 12 volt car battery laying around which allowed for real time testing at the rear of the trailer (without drilling holes!).
