This is an extremely dangerous ladder. Sturdy plastic feet are absolutely non-slip. On a hard surface such as tile, wooden floors or even asphalt, if you lose your balance even a little, the ladder will slide out from under you. A stepladder just blew out from under me while unloading my bike from the roof rack of my car. At that time, the staircase was on a hard-paved street. Luckily I kept my balance using the side of the car and was only hit lightly. The only way to make this ladder safe is to put softer rubber feet on it to give it traction on hard surfaces. I bought two of these ladders hoping to have one in the trunk of my car to help load and unload bikes. and store one under our kitchen counter. Because the stairs have absolutely no grip on hard surfaces, they are unusable for the purposes they were purchased for. I will be filing a complaint with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission about these ladders. It's not safe to be in the market without leg mods.
