I've bought 3 pair of these. The soles wore out quick 3-4 months wearing them to work on concrete floors all day. I work as a Service advisor at a car dealer so half inside half outside. To warm for summer okay for fall not warm enough for winter "below 20°" okay on wet floors and snow for the most part better then most ladys boots.My favorite part is the pockets since I always have to have ID on me. The pocket will hold ID or credit cards, car key, cash, chapstick, lighter, the inside pouch will hold most items smaller than a deck of cards or a pack of cigarettes. A pack of cigarettes will NOT fit I've tried.Its great that both boots have pockets on the outside just over ankel. I don't carry a purse. In mine I carry in one ID credit card and chap stick, in the other car key (Jeep with built-in remote on top) lighter and house key. The lining is okay bit you will still feel the items inside. I've been stabbed by my house key a few time running my Jeep Cutch. So I just switched it to my right boot with the flat cards.Zippers are plastic and don't go down the whole way only to bottom of the pocket. ONLY broken one and it's because it was frozen but I needed my keys. In general I'm careful opening/closing the zipper they aren't that sturdy.The insoles suck as far as comfort support and arch are concerned. I replace them with dr sholes womens sport active no big deal I replace all my insoles.The only real issue I've had is pocket placement I squat down dozens of times a day to read VIN from door jams. I wish the pocket was higher so the items would dig and allow more flex. My most recent pair does have the pockets just over the ankel instead of on it so they did improve them over the last year or so. The orginals were right on the ankel. I wear a 9 1/2 I by these in 10 regular they run just a hair small plus I like thick socks. I did not receive these for any discount.
