This basic fan is a good deal. It's very quiet (in both modes, but especially on the lowest setting) and blows decently. Both the clip and the fan itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so you don't have to worry about not being able to reach a certain direction. I want him to be able to sway. Either way, this is a good basic fan. Update 8/9: A few weeks of use and this fan is starting to make a rhythmic buzz. Sometimes it's a complete vibration or rattle. I don't notice it during the day, but when I'm sleeping it's very noticeable and annoying. I have to fiddle with the positioning and move it around to get rid of the rattling, which usually works, but something tells me this thing isn't going to last long.
