Review on 🔊 Wireless TV Speaker - Pohopa Portable TV Soundbox, TV Audio Hearing Assistance for Smart TV, 10W Speaker for Hard of Hearing Seniors - with Transmitter by Juan Lukas

We received this as a proof of concept replacement for some of the old infrared speakers at my facility. When I received it I tested it on my laptop and there was a strange buzzing/humming coming from the speaker. I confirmed it was this product when I tested multiple input sources and the noise remained. We then set it up in the living room and when testing the generator, we had to intervene in the transmitter due to a power failure. We had to go back and turn on the transmitter as soon as we knew the speaker stopped working. After a resident used the headphone jack, the solder came off completely. If you don't want to use headphones this probably isn't a problem, but for our use case we need both a speaker and headphones. When I finally contacted the manufacturer for a replacement, they didn't offer to replace the speaker. Did they first try to offer a replacement for the headphone jack, thinking I'd solder it back on? Then I was offered a discount just for a headphone receiver that would work with an existing transmitter. Needless to say, this didn't test the concept and we'll move on to other products.
