I bought two of these bedside tables for my bedroom. They're beautiful, have some weight, and the brightness settings are great. The lamp looks very original. I've never seen anything like this. There is a catalog number on the box that the lamp came in. Make sure you keep the lamp box in case you need a replacement. Now let me explain why I gave this lamp a 4 and not a 5 rating. The lampshade is not a one-off. It consists of three parts. A large metal velcro strap (bottom), a small metal velcro strap (top) and the shade itself. The shade rolls up with velcro around the edges. The shadow is folded in the opposite direction, the fabric on the outside is on the inside. You should roll it around the two metal rings that connect all the velcro evenly. I've been a do-it-yourselfer my whole life. There is a certain difficulty in assembling these lampshades. Where the two ends of the blinds meet is a bump. I turned this to the back of the lamp where it is not visible. These lamps still look good and I am proud to own them. I would rate it a 5 if it weren't for the lampshade assembly.
