I bought this suitcase to use as luggage and yes it ran out. I'm tired of standard luggage breaking after 1-2 uses. To be fair I've repacked my bags and explaining why I took the Pelican 1650 suitcase that I bought for a cruise because we usually take a Bacardi suitcase on cruises because it's so cheap. I can tell you that the Pelican 1650 (with the foam removed) will fit a full case of 1 liter Bacardi bottles in a case. If it wasn't easier when I was so happy. I used to have to pack every bottle of clothes in old luggage, and after a few blocks of walking, the old luggage's wheels started to fail. Well, the thing is heavy, about 38 pounds without a box of Bacardi, and with my stuff I pushed 100 pounds. Not that you want to travel with an airline but the cruise was perfect. Because it has 4 wheels and they are strong, it rolls easily and there was no wear while running. I wish I had done that sooner. The other downside, apart from the weight, is that it's not that easy to store due to its rigidity, but it can move anywhere and you don't have to worry about that.
